Some utterances

I've decided to blog after someone related me to the word 'lazy'.

--

"You better blog or I'll..."

"You'll what?" I goaded.

"I'll rewire your house so that every time you switch on an appliance, heavy metal music blasts at earsplitting decibels throughout your house."

Isn't it a good day today? I mean, besides all that haze...

I'm currently listening to Minnie Riperton's Loving You. I like the chirpings in the song. Yea yea, like anyone bothers...

It's deepavali today and it's also Sathish's birthday!
Happy Birthday Sathish!

I've been wondering what kind of girl I will be when I'm around the age of twenty.
Will I be bolder, more arrogant or will I still be like what I am today. I have the slightest instinct that most guys have a liking towards demure and reserved girls. I'm not saying that I am as dittoed... Well, maybe I should learn to be more quiet and modest...no?

When I was younger I dreamt of a great career; a husband and children. I met and married the man of my dreams and together we planned to have four kids. My first kid, I named her trish.

Kidding...

Our society places emphasis on looks, abilities and being the same as everyone else. Sometimes I portray it as having impossible standards but, I also feel the pressure to conform to these 'ideals of perfection'. Sometimes trying leaves me feeling less perfect. Sometimes it deters me from having dreams that are actually, too realistic to happen.

You know how some people will gush about the beauty of a woman.

"Oh, a woman's beauty is most perceptible!"

"Yeah?"

"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty is reflected in her soul."

Amused

"Ahhhh, the beauty of a woman, so beauuutiful!"

Unbelievable, I thought. Just unbelievable.

It also seems like a society where people are just busy feathering their nest.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life...

Have a nice day everyone.
